Andrej Knap is the Executive Director of International Operations, a role he assumed in June 2025. With a career spanning nearly three decades at Zavarovalnica Triglav, Andrej has established extensive expertise in the insurance and financial sectors. He has held several key executive positions, including Assistant to the President of the Management Board and Executive Director of Property Insurance. Throughout his tenure, he successfully sponsored massive transformation initiatives, notably the comprehensive IT modernization projects across the Triglav Group.
Andrej holds a Master of Science in Business and Organization from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana , and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a recognized speaker at global conferences on operational efficiency and digitalization. Outside of his professional life, Andrej is an active hobbyist programmer in Python , a competitive chess enthusiast , and an avid cyclist.
